Hi, I'm Barney

A little about myself: I've been a professional Linux sysadmin for about 13
years now, mostly in the open-source webhosting space, and have a broad range
of knowledge and experience to bring to the table. I also love sharing
knowledge and educating others.

I have a strong background in customer service and problem solving. I find
robust solutions, and excel in implementing and communicating them.

As part of building systems, I also write code as needed. Most of my work is
automation-focused, using Python and shell scripts, but I've picked up plenty
of other languages along the way and am familiar with current dev practices.

I have a particular interest in security, and building secure and usable
systems. This is one particular area that I'd love to do more work in.
